I leave Orlando Saturday morning at the crack of dawn. Spend almost 48 hours in L.A. and then turn arounjd and fly back Monday morning at even earlier then crack of dawn, then work all day Monday, and only for the cost of $567. Awesome.

This better be the best wedding I have ever gone to. Seriously.

Easter weekend was nice.

Friday night around 11pm Jeannie and I started our journey down to Naples. We arrived at Dianas around 230am. Seeing Diana always makes me happy. I go through Diana withdrawl when we go through long periods of time without seeing one another.

Saturday the girls and I hit Target and and ate at Perkins, we took Diana to work, and Jeannie and I headed over to the east coast of Florida, for the Misery Signals show in West Palm. As always it was nice to see Amber!!!! <3 Kelsey and Chacho were there as well, and a few others that I dont get to see all to often. We got bored at the show and headed to Miami. I havent been to south beach in yearrrrrrrrs. Johnny Fucking Mapquest saved the day and made Jeannie a very happy girl with directions to Miami Ink. After Miami we headed back to Lauderdal and met up with Dave for Moonlite Cafe before making the drive back to Naples.

Easter Sunday we actually slept in for awhile, lunch at the Cracker Barrel was awesome, then the girls and I once again hopped onto the Alligator Alley for a ride over to Ft. Lauderdale. Usually it takes about an hour and 15 minutes to get across they Alley, it took us 2.5 hours, as we stopped at every rest stop to look at the gators (see the pictures behind the cut). We met up with Amber at Beach Place in Lauderdale for some refreshing cold beverages and to make fun od the beach go'ers, followed by Boomerz. We parted ways with Amber, which made me sad. Every weekend I must say goodbye to her and that sucks. We Ale Housed it with Carlos, then headed back to Naples.

All in all it was a good weekend. I love those girls so much. Blah.

Heres something I dont understand, nor will I ever understand.

How is it, that a boy can dump you..... get rid of you and simply careless about you...yet gets mad when you talk with his friends?

Now, I can understand the person who STILL has feelings, as in being the dumpee, not wanting their friends to talk to the person who dumped them... but the dumper???

Hello... YOU got rid of ME. You didnt want me anymore.... barely even liked being around me when all our friends hung out. Hardly talk to me anymore.. and yet, im supposed to stay away from your friends? Friends that I met through others, not even you?

I guess its just me, because all my friends say its just the rule.
Fuck rules.

Man alive, it's been awhile since I have been to LJ. I miss it here.

Spent Saturday night down in Coral Springs with Amber.

Went to the All Hell Breaks Loose/Dance Floor Justice show in Miami with Andrea, Amber, and Kelsey. I actually had more fun then I thought I would have... thanks to the girls.

Spent Sunday being lazy with Amber and Andrea before I headed home.

Blake's in FL till Friday for Spring Break, so hopefully I will get to see him before he leaves. I miss my little L.A. Blakers!!!

I miss Diana. =( I think Jeannie and I are going to go down and see her this weekend.

I hate running into Mr. Orlando. It throws me into a freaking loop and Im thrown off for days. Grrrr.

a coal miners daughter

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Yesterday, I like the rest of the world learned about the miners in West Virgina who were traped inside of the their mine after an explosion.

Much like everyone else who followed the story, I prayed that the 13 miners would come out alive. After 20 hours, it grim. I sat in my San Francisco hotel room with my brother and my mother watching in silence.

Awhile after I flew in tonight, they had news that one miner was dead, making the outlook for the other 12, even more grim. Later, it was announced that the other 12 were found alive, despite their 40 hours of sitting a thin air pocket, having carbon monoxide seep slowly into their lungs.

I felt relieved. I watched and listened as the families celebrated and cried tears of not having to mourn anymore.

Now, here I sit, at 3:30am as a special live news report has just broken into all the major networks, taking back earlier claims, and now announcing that only 1 miner was found alive.

It's been quite sometime since I have cried so hard.
I feel just terrible for the families who had to be informed that after they were told that their father, brother, uncle, whomever were alive, that they were indeed dead, even though just hours earlier they thought a miracle had occured.

I dont have words to express how much this saddens me. These people do not live anywhere near me. They live lives very opposite of mine. I dont know them, nor will I ever...and yet, my heart aches for them.

So, as a Floridian, I dont have that much serious winter clothes. I should have thought of that before I packed up and flew to Canada in November.

Its fucking freezing outside.

I fly back in Monday aftrnoon. And, hopefully, I will make it in time to see None More Black at the Backbooth, whos going with me?

Just hours till I see Dragonforce, and Kamelot again. I must say, I am almost more excited to see Kamelot again!

If you call me, make sure you leave me a message, because while I can answer my phone, I am not sure if its roaming or not. I know I have no roaming in the US... but i doubt Canada counts under the no roaming plan I have..so I wont be answering my phone till Monday.

The internet at this hotel is weird, its on the TV, with a wireless keyboard, no mouse. Very hard to navigate.

I wish Scott and Erick were here. <3

Where Eagles Dare played here last night. I missed those boys. Good show. Got to hang out with Andy, which I never do.

Some akward moments due to some other people, but all's well, ends well.

Tasha, Rachel and I went to Ale House afterwards, spur of the moment. I love those girls.

Today afer not nearly enough sleep, I got up and went to the station. Had a good show. Came home, got changed and ready for the day, and went to meet the W.E.D. boys for some Chinese late lunch. Chinese food seems to be what we do when they are in town. We were pleasently joined by Adam, Andy and Charlie as well. Headed to the show, and I actually had more fun then I thought I would have.

I really just wanted to go and watch Where Eagles Dare again, since they got added to the show, but stuck around. Modern Life Is War was good, as they always are. With Honor was decent, I dont care much for them, and Walls of Jericho was awesome as well. Not so much a fan of their recorded stuff, but Candace has such good stage pressence, and they put on a really good show.

Now I just want to go to bed.

Tomorrow is going to be awesome. I am so excited about seeing Kamelot. Granted, its going to suck driving allllllll the way out to the Sarasota area, but its going to be worth it. Plus I have Scott, Meeks and Paco in my car with me.

Only DAYS till I leave for DRAGONFORCE! Such a good week for shows. Damn.

Okay, sleep. the end.

November 7th, 2005

I never update this anymore.
This past month has been awesome.

Diana was here, and that was great. I always miss her when she leaves. Diana, Jeannie and I spent awesome quality time together. Intgerity was awesome and Terror was great.
It was good to see Dougie.
Also, if anyone has any pictures from the Integrity show, cause I know 27,490,327,407,324 people were taking pictures... if you happen to have any of the On Our Own set, and me singing pleassssssse send them to me. thanks. <3

I honestly have the best jobs of life. I miss being at Real Radio full time, 5 days a week, but its also kind of nice not being around the guys sooooo much. ha. Either way, when I am there loggin' in some hours, its always a blast. And if you dont know.... you should fucking listen to the Hideout, 104.1 7pm-11pm. [/shameless plug] But as much as I miss it, I perfer to make 15 dollars an hour being an events manager..and I love that I get to make my own schedule. No more getting up to early, no more missing shows. No more working when I dont want to. woohoo.

I leave in 11 days for Canada. Stoked on Dragonforce.

I missed the Spill Canvas show last night, I think I may go tonight.

Its almost Thanksgiving. I Am going down south for the weekend with Tasha. I miss my south Florida friends, and I miss Tashas family, so I am very excited.

I am obsessed with Greys Anatomy. I have seen every single episode of both first season and so far this second season. When i grow up, I want to be Meredith Grey.

Also, I have been addicted to playing Tetris lately....what??

Okay I will update again in a month.

Lets see, what have I done recently.

Saw On Our Own and Pride Kills. Great show. I was excited about seeing Carlos, he's my favorite. I was sad that the On Our Own kids didnt stick around to hang out. But Jeannie and I had a good night singing country music and going to Wendys. It was also nice seeing Tim that night. I dont ever get to see him enough.

Lucero show was AMAZING. I was glad to hang out with Jeannie and Rob. It was also good running into Larry and Dan Stone there. I love those guys.
Afterwards Jeannie, Rob, Lance, Charlie, Ben, Bubba, Scott and two girls whos names I forget went to Ale House. I fucking love the ale house, bets zingers of life.
I love being around Charlie. And I was extra happy seeing Lance as well, since it has been a very long time since he and I chilled.
Scott made my night though by giving me ever exciting news that he and Erick are going to teh Dragonforce show.....and now that means I can go since other people I know are going.

MOTHER FUCKING DRAGONFORCE!!!!!!!

It doesnt get much better than that.

Really, Dragonfoce and Promise Ring on the same month, it will for sure be the best month of my year.

Hailey and I went to Red Lobster Sunday night.. our waitress disliked us, but oh well. I was glad she and I were hanging out, its been awhile since her and I had one of our talks. Theres just some things that Hailey gets, which is my favorite part about her. hehe.

All I did was shop this week:

- New Coach purse, in an excellent bright green.
- Two Coach wallets, one for my mom and one for my sister in law. They are out of the new signature line, and adorable. I couldnt resist and did early Christmas shopping.
- Burberry heels, that were 20% off. God damn, made me the happiest girl of life.
- Some new jeans, new sweater, two camis, and a few tshirts

I am a bit pissy though. A bit ago I bought the new 60 gig ipod. I figured it would be good to store my photos on asn such, and then I see the new ipod nano. ugh. I wish that was out when I bought my new ipod, its adorable and so small. I already have an ipod and didnt need it for storage as much as I just wnated to have my pictures on something and a nano would have been great. oh well.

This week I am going to do more shopping, in Boca. Blakes birthday is Friday and I havent seen him in forever. I miss my Blakeness. So I will be spending much amounts of time down there.

At some point Jeannie and I are going to Jax. I dont know when.

This will end my post for the month.

the end.

So I am no offically a PAID Real Radio employee. HA. Friday night was my last day as an intern, and my last day on the Hideout (I am now working in marketing, with much more exciting news possibly on the way!!!)

Friday night on the show was AMAZING! All my favorite callers called in, and all my favorite people came in the studio to hang out. I want to thank Kelly, Rique, Scott, Tim, Murphy and Austin for all coming in and hanging the fuck out. Special thanks to Dan for altering his flight, just so he could come hang out with me!!!! Best part of the night though, Erik drove THREE hours just to make it into the studio for the last 45 minutes of my show! <3 Not to mention the fact that he bought me the prettiest yellow roses ever!

Jefe was nice enough to end my internship 10 minutes early so I could beat Chunks. No really, I beat him with a wooden paddle. 9 smacks. He had welts on his ass when i was done. HA!

I am going to miss being on the show every day, but none the less I will still be there a few times a month hanging out and stuff. Also, listen to SBK on Saturday nights, as I will be on his show alot as well.....!!

In other news, I am STOKED for Sunday night, hello VMA's! I am very excited about going to Miami, I feel like its been forever since I have headed down there, and on top of it, I am going to the VMAs which makes me super stoked.

School starts back up again tomorrow. great.

im out bitch, 5000!

Here are pictures of Gwar and Madball. The only two bands I care enough to take pictures of yesterday

click me! click me! more pictures! )

In other news, after the SOTU I went to the station for my show. Gwar was supposed to come ob 7:30 to interview with us. The guys, Jefe and Dubs, didnt think I rally got them a Gwar interview and said that if I didnt pull through, that I had to stunt. 7:30 came and went, and they were nowhere to be found. Now, earlier in the day I talked to Rachael, the tours publicist, as well as Jensen, Gwars manager. It was all set up. I also got us all tickets and press passes so I know there was no if's and's or bu't about it. So I had to stunt.

So apparently theres this thing called "The Milk Chug Challenge" which its said that no one can drink a gallon of milk in an hour. Guess who had to prove if this was true. Yes, yours truely. First of all, I HATE MILK! I think its gross. So at 8:00 I start. im taking my time and doing ok. 30 minutes in, I was half done. I drank a half gallon, and felt fine. Its then that Dubs tells us that he did this back on his old show in DC, and he didnt even make it as far as I did before he puked. 50 minutes in, i have about ooohhh three large glasses to go, if that. Not that it mattered, because I puked. How gross. Okay whatever, I had to stunt, it was gross, no big deal. 10:oo, who walks into our studio? Gwar. GREAT! I had to stunt, and vomit, for nothing! grrrr.

I am never drinking milk again. Ever.

Yesterday was my favorite day of life.
The most beautiful boy of life tied my shoe for me.
I saw Madball again for the millionth time, and I am still blown away everytime I see them.
Saw Gwar, and that in itself, is self explainitory.
I got to spend time with Jeannie, whos my favorite person of life.
And on my show last night I proved that it 100% impossible to drink a gallon of milk in an hour.

More on all of this when I update later. Pictures to come. woohoo.

I love....LOVE my job.
Both of them.

Honestly, I am so stoked that I have such rad jobs. Granted, they do take up the majority of my time, and I dont get to hang out as much, but I love what I do, and it doesnt feel like "work", which I guess is all anyone could as for.

I miss Jeannie though. =( Its been to long since Ive seen my best friend, and that makes me sad.

I am however stoked on the fact that Nicci is coming to town. WOOHOO!!!

ugh, what am I doing up at 8:30 am on my day off, eh?
